In my quest to find great and creative homeschool activities, I have discovered lapbooking. I have not created one as of yet, but I have found all of the materials that I need and I plan on making this apart of our curriculum. The first one that we will do is on the "Human Body". The activities and printouts for this lapbook and many others can be found on a great site called www.homeschoolshare.com.
We are on a two week break for Thanksgiving, but as soon as school starts back...Lapbooking will be introduced. I will keep you updated on how it is working for us. I would love to hear your stories and experiences with lapbooks.
We have only finished 1 lapbook (7 days of creation), but it was so much fun!! We have an 'all about me', 'transportation', and 'the wordless book' lapbook in production too.....but have yet to finish any of them. Its a great way to be creative well practicing tons of skills!
